Os implantes de zircônia estão cada vez mais presentes no mercado, e no catálogo das grandes marcas, devido à sua alta capacidade estética e excelente compatibilidade com os tecidos moles, além de trazer uma opção metal free para a Implantodontia, algo bastante discutido nos tempos atuais. No entanto, uma questão bastante observada, mas ainda pouco comentada, é o surgimento das novas conexões protéticas presentes nestes implantes. Dessa forma, a proposta deste artigo é apresentar ao leitor as conexões protéticas desses implantes de zircônia, levando-o a refletir sobre as mudanças e futuro da implantodontia.
